Horizontal Mixer

Horizontal mixers are mainly used for mixing solids. The product is fed through nozzles or flaps on the top of the cylindrical mixing drum. Discharging is also effected by means of nozzles or flaps, which are located in the lower part of the mixer.

Several mixing tools are attached to a central mixing shaft. For particularly intensive mixing, a planetary stirring system can also be applied.

A double jacket effects the heating or cooling of the mixture. If required, it is possible to mix under vacuum or pressure conditions.

A version which complies with ATEX for use in hazardous areas is also available.
